Features

Field records do not have to wait for a signal

Keep the record on the device when the network is weak, then sync.

Barns, pasture, and weak networks are the default setting. A record is written to the local database first.

When a connection returns, pending operations are sent. Server acceptance is a separate step; an offline save is not the same as server confirmation.

The pending-sync screen shows work that has not been accepted yet. This page is not a backup or cloud-restore promise.

Workflow

  1. 1

    Record in the field

Write the animal or event on the device even without a network.

  2. 2

    See pending work

Unsent or unaccepted records stay listed.

  3. 3

    Sync when connected

Sync runs when the network returns. Conflicts are handled in the app.

The pending-sync screen will appear here when an approved screenshot exists.

What it gives you

  • The record lives on the device first
  • Pending work is not hidden
  • Sync completes the local record; it does not replace it

Common questions

Can an offline record disappear?

The record is kept on the device and queued for sync. Device wipe or account deletion are separate issues; this page does not promise a backup.

Does voice work without internet?

Core record screens work offline. Parts of voice may need a network. Recording does not depend on voice.
